The service

Home File is a tool for documenting renovation work and handing a digital file to the client. The documentation, measurements, warranties and information in the file are entered by the contractor, who is responsible for their accuracy.

Contractor responsibilities

• Shoot and share only with the homeowners' consent, and don't photograph people or personal belongings not needed for the documentation.
• Keep the links to files and quotes safe and send them only to the homeowners.
• Warranty periods suggested in the app are suggestions only. Your commitment to the client is set by your contract and by law.

What the documentation doesn't replace

Measurements and locations in the file are based on what the contractor measured and recorded. Before drilling or opening a wall, check on site, for example with a pipe and cable detector. The service is not liable for damage caused by relying on inaccurate information.

Plans and payment

The free plan includes a limited number of projects. The Pro plan is a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time. Files already handed over to clients remain available after cancellation.

Quotes

A quote sent through the service is between the contractor and the client. The service only delivers the quote and the answer and is not a party to the agreement.

Deletion and termination

You can delete the account at any time in the app. Deletion is final and includes all projects and files.
